Graduation - Class of 2018

Seeing all these posts about graduation are making me feel nostalgic. I can't believe I've been out of high school for so long - it seems like a long time ago, and doesn't at the same time. This is a chocolate cake with lavender rosettes to celebrate a special high school graduate.

Succulent Cake

This was an Arizona inspired cake. When I got asked to do this one I thought about all the memories I have of Arizona and most all of them went back to the unique plants that were there. (Also... speaking of plants in Arizona, did you know that if a cactus doesn't have visible spikes, it can still hurt really bad if you hug it? I did when I was in elementary school because I wanted a picture hugging a cactus and for hours after I was SOOOOO itchy. There are fine little hair prickles that stick to your skin. I think next time I'd prefer to get stabbed by a spike rather than have those little tiny prickles all over my arms.)

Hollywood

This was such a fun cake for a Movie themed party. It was a combination party with two sisters. One loves strawberry and one loves chocolate, so it was a half-and-half cake.

It's a Girl!

There was a baby shower at my house recently. These were a few of the treats from the party. Photo Credit: My Fabulous Sister - Valerie S.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Cupcakes

This was a marvelous combo. I am glad these didn't stick around my house, or I would have eaten all of them!

French Toast Wedding Cake

I have a friend who is a hoot! She recently got married and requested a .... French toast cake. It was a unique request, but very fun!

Grandma's 90th

My sweet grandma turned 90 years old this year! Her favorite color has always been purple, so I did a purple / chocolate sheet cake.

Rainbow Twist

I LOVE doing multiple colors on cupcakes. This was a fun one.

Nutella

I got to travel to Europe a few years ago. While in Italy I realized there were people that had a bigger love for Nutella than me. They had jars of nutella that had to have weighed 40 pounds! Literally!! I also LOVE Ferrero Rocher - so, perfect combo.
